Antony has been involved in youth work since the age of 18. He studied at Manchester University and gained a degree in Youth and Community work. He worked for Staffordshire County Council for 26 years as a Youth and Community Area Manager. For the last 10 years, he ran a voluntary youth club every Friday night. He has wide-ranging experience working within the community and setting up and running community projects.

Our Volunteers

The Community Centre wouldn’t be what it is today without the help and support of our wonderful volunteers. People from all parts of our community willingly donate their time and efforts in a number of projects that we run here. The support we receive from them is appreciated by both staff, board members and the community alike. 

Our volunteers currently support: 
The Fitness Hub, the Community Garden, Yoga, Fruit and Veg Project, Free Food Thursday’s, S.M.I.L.E, Youth Club and Indoor Bowls.

Young Leaders

Our Young Leaders are young volunteers who assist with the setting up and running of the Youth Club. You can also find them helping with fundraising for the Zone.
